Bear vs Gorilla

I come from a large family and years ago this question was posed by one of my cousins. The group of cousins pretty unanimously agreed Gorilla and that was that.

In the summer of 2021, one cousin had this as a prompt on her Hinge profile. She experienced quite a few responses, but one in particular turned into a first date. Which eventually led to a wedding! And yes...he chose Gorilla.

Since 2021, anytime I've been on the dating apps, this has always been a prompt on my profile. It's always been very popular, and I get MANY types of answers for it, so I thought I'd share some with the world.

I would say more often than not, people choose Bear (which I have to disagree with).

However, I do get a few Gorilla answers (which is correct).

Then, I get the overthinkers.

As well as the mis-readers.

Or even the “no answers”.

And some that just take it in a completely different direction.

I continue to get responses to this prompt everyday. Some responses are entertained and some are not. Most conversations die out, but the few that continue are usually worth it. So who knows, maybe someday there will be a second wedding in the family that originated from this prompt...and maybe not.

So once again for the world, let's debate this topic...
